Prosortium, Inc. Jonathan G. Lasch, President Dr. Lasch has more than 20 years of experience in science and technology development and evaluation in the fields of biomedical instruments and systems, biotechnology, chemistry and materials science. He has founded and held senior management and board positions in numerous technology-based start-ups, including several Caltech spin-outs. Previously, Dr. Lasch was V.P., Technology Development at The Scripps Research Institute, where he oversaw new business development, technology transfer and licensing activities. Prior to joining Scripps, he was Director of Research, Biotechnology for PPG Industries, where he also held R&D management and technical positions. Author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and inventor on several patents, Dr. Lasch serves on the advisory committees and boards of several for-profit companies and non-profit organizations, including the Business Technology Center for Los Angeles, and Volunteer Professionals for Medical Advancement. He holds a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of Texas, El Paso and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Texas, Austin.
