Letter to Esoterik

To Whom It May Concern:

I have been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. Been there, done that.
I’m a national voice over artist. I’ve sung back up vocals on albums, to winning an Emmy for composition. I managed major recording studios in LA hearing everything from R&B, Rock to Classical. While working at a prestigious public relations firm, I threw out about 50 hopeful submission tapes a day if the song didn’t grab me within the first minute.

I’ve known Greg Sellars for several years. His tenacity in finding the right blend of sound, gift and personality of band members has paid off with Esoterik. I remember the day Greg stopped by to have me listen to the rough cuts of this new band. The sound was in your face fresh, different and alive. On You Said, the band creatively merged hip hop/rock n’ roll and heavy metal with driving vocals and solid linear rhythms. O.2 featured Greg’s dynamic vocals with the band’s solid sound, a hit. Naked, by far, was my favorite. This song’s poetic change of heart, played acoustically, is sure to be Esoterik’s commercial ballad hit.

With Greg Sellars on lead vocals, Ryan Cook and Tyler Newton on guitar, Craig [Hartnell] on bass and Paul Lavelle on drums, choosing Esoterik’s fresh sound gives new meaning to the word.

Sincerely,

Mary Moyers-Lee
